July 14, 200322 yr Newbies I'm an ex-Windows user considering migrating from Access. In FM is there a way to copy and paste data to an excel spreadsheet, or a sheet in a graphing program as one can in access? Or does one have to export data to a file and import it/open it in excel? Many thanks.
July 15, 200322 yr An ex-Windows user? Does this mean that you use Mac now? If so, then with FM5.5 (or later), you can just drag your FM file over the Excel icon, and it will open a wizard. Select the fields you want as columns, and it will make a spreasheet! Don't try it, Windows users. Won't work (cuz I already tried!). Other than that, exporting as .csv or .tab and opening w/excel is probably the easiest solution. Ken
