HI I have applicaion to access two databases, One related to the other. I defined relationship to delete related record if the master one is deleted. I found when I delete the master record from the web, the related records are not deleted with it. Any ideas? Thanks. confused.gif

Does the Layout, you name with "-lay", contain a Portal to the Related database?

Yes. When I delete master record from filemaker directly, the related record will be gone. But it is not the case when I delete record from CDML webpage. What is the trick? Thanks.

Go to "Define Relationships" then edit the relationship and Check the box "When deleting a record in this file, also delete related record.".

If this is checked, I'm not sure what the problem is. It works for me.
