Newbies dhc Posted August 8, 2003 Newbies Posted August 8, 2003 Hi, I have a database with quite a few checkboxes, so many in fact that it's difficult to see which ones are checked and which ones aren't. What I'd like to do is highlight the checked boxes in one way or another. Ideally this would mean bolding the text and/or check mark. Is this possible? If so can someone explain in (relative) newbie speak how to do it? Thanks in advance. Dave
Razumovsky Posted August 12, 2003 Posted August 12, 2003 Easiest would be to bold the checkbox itself. To do this, select the checkbox in layout mode, then increase the pen width on the left hand status/tool area (should bring up a pull down menu with none, hairline, 1pt, 2pt, etc...)set it at 2 pt or so. You could also increase the size of the checkbox by adjusting the font size (still in layout mode, format menu). To have the text switch to bold, you would need to create overlayed calc fields for each checkbox. As you say you have many of them, I do not think it would be worth the effort. HTH -Raz
Newbies dhc Posted August 13, 2003 Author Newbies Posted August 13, 2003 Thanks Razumovsky, I've actually just realised I don't need to bother since all viewing/editing will be done via the web and I'll format everything there! I do appreciate the reply though
