My wife has a major client that requires project management using MS Access. Their office is 100% Mac and they use FileMakerPro currently. She supplied me with some files from the client (They have a suffix of ".mdb"). I tried to convert them using FMP v6.0. I got a successful conversion, but the records were full of characters that made little sense.

Is there anyway that FMP can use Access files?

Hi:

You might wanna try exporting the .mdb file as an excel worksheet (File/Export then select Excel worksheet) and then import that worksheet to you FM file.
