superpickle Posted August 10, 2003 Posted August 10, 2003 I have a file that the customer wants to view in table form. It has so many fields that it is 2 1/2 viewable screens wide. What is the best way to add a copy of the very first field somewhere later in the record so that the customer can still identify the record? I tried to duplicate the field, but it didn't show up in the table. I currently have the 2nd field set as a calculation field that is set to equal the first field, but it doesn't update if the first field is changed. any ideas?
superpickle Posted August 11, 2003 Author Posted August 11, 2003 oops, never mind I had the field type = TEXT and the option = AUTO-ENTER, CALCULATION I changed it to type = CALCUALTION and option = "FIELD NAME" I hope this helped someone else.
