Dan-A
Hi All, Is there a way to change a list separator in mac?? On a PC it's part of the regional settings, but where does it "live" on a mac ?? FYI I built an app on a pc and some script steps don't run under mac. I think it's because of the french OS X using semi-colon instead of the comma to separate paramaters in some scripts in my computer. Anatoli
Try "use system formats" script step.
Dan-A
Thanks Anatoli, I'm not sure that will work. Isn't Use system formats just a switch to tell FM to use the formats that were in effect at the time of the database creation(formats NO) or to display dates or other info with the formats that are active on the current computer(formats ON)?! My problem seems to be that even with system formats ON, the secureFM plug-in i am using (or FM 5.5v2) does not convert my commas for semi-colons. So all the script steps that include a call to an external secureFM function fail. The steps that run & use only built-in FM functions seem to work just fine. Anatoli
If FM is OK, then ask the creator of secureFM! Maybe they missed something!
