Sliding grouped objects

It doesn't seem like grouped objects slide together when printing or in preview mode. I would like a group of fields and their labels to slide up together based only on what is directly above them. When I try this they slide up different degrees and get out of alignment. The alternative, to slide up based on "all above" isn't much help because I have other non-sliding text and lines off to the side which stops any sliding.

Is there a way to make grouped objects slide as a group based only on what is directly above them?

Try drawing a white border empty rectangle around each item before you group them.
