Does anyone have a clue how to prevent scandianavian letters turning into mumbojumbo when connecting filemaker via jdbc to mysql database and retreaving data? The MySQL is running on Mac X Server 10.2.4 and the filemaker is running on X 10.2.6.

You need to recalculate the position of letters. The same is with 8-bit Central European languages, like Polish, Czech, Slovak etc.

Also patched WebCompanion can do this job or plugin from www.24usoftware.com
