August 26, 200322 yr FileMaker Developer Conference, Phoenix, AZ - August 26, 2003 Yesterday, 24U Software has been holding a contest of FileMaker plug-in implementation simplicity. Mark Rubenstein from Easy As Pi was implementing help tags into his real FileMaker solution, using 24U SimpleHelp Plug-In and 24U SimpleHelp Utility. As a first time user of the plug-in and after only a 2-minute explanation, Mark was able make his solution's layout equipped with fully functional textual help tags in as little as 12 minutes. During the whole day, attendees were guessing how long it would take Mark to implement the help tags. Although one man guessed exactly 12 minutes, he was not available at the end of the contest, so 2 closest guessers have won and got free Developer Licences. By this contest, 24U SimpleHelp Plug-In has been proved to be easy and quick to implement, while dramatically improving user interface of the solution. 24U Software makes software for people, not for computers! Since 2000 24U Software has been committed to production of easy to use software that makes working and developing with FileMaker, AppleScript and QuarkXPress faster, simpler and cheaper. Behind 24U products is a well coordinated team of specialists who have been working with FileMaker, AppleScript and QuarkXPress since their first releases.
