ODBC/JDBC Mac importing concerns

I'm currently tring to find a away to import records from a postgreSQL database into a FileMaker 5.5 system. Support and documentation for ODBC/JDBC on MacOS 9/X seem to be lacking. Is there any support for any Mac OS and ODBC?

Is this is at all possible? If needed we could use a Windows box to do the importing but would prefer to use our Macs. What are my options?

Found my own answer kinda:

And OSX 5.5 doesn't have ODBC like all other versions. (win,os9 v6.0)
