General FM - ODBC question

Featured Replies

I have a client that is using FileMaker Pro in-house on all of their macs including a dedicated G4 server running FM server and they want a front-end to their SQL db (Windows NT) that sits under their web site at their remote hosting facility. I have only worked in MS Access where you can create a front end onto SQL and view real time dynamic data. Is this possible with FM Pro and is it dynamic or does it require importing or triggering updates based on certain criteria? Any info? Suggestions for third party software? I have already set up the ODBC connection.

That is permanent request from many FM developers.

One of the most flexible front end for SQL can be build with Lasso from Blue World. Client will be any decent browser.
