novtiger Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 If I am at 100% percent view, the filemaker file prints out of alignment. The text boxes which are above a text field look perfectly lined up only when zoomed in to 150% or more. Very Strange.
Vaughan Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 Thanks for you comment. I can only assume you don't want an answer of any sort because you haven't told us the version you are using, the operating system, the printer, paper size...
-Queue- Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 On Windows, FileMaker is rarely WYSIWYG for printed layouts. So make one layout for previewing that looks acceptable to you (at whatever magnification you desire) and another for printing at 100%. Use Adobe or PDF995 to print test pages as you tweak and re-tweak your layout, to avoid wasting reams of paper. Furthermore, if you have lines or some other type of non-text mixed with text, merge or sliding fields, there is a better chance of it never previewing the way it will print, regardless of magnification.
