I'm at the very start of creating an FMP solution. I need a simple thing, a one-screen file that allows me to launch programs from it. What am I looking at in terms of field creation? How can I launch an app or open a file from within FMP? Is there an actual FMP file example somewhere that I can dl?

What kind of application are you trying to open, FileMaker or something else? A little more info would be helpful.

Diana, while it is rather counterintuitive, use a script step, "Send Message"

I use the open URL Script step. Seems to work fine for us..
