I have a strange thing happening with a field that I have formatted as radio buttons. The outline of the radio button itself doesn't show up. The radio button shows up as a white dot instead of the same color as the text in the field tag. This just happened. I suppose I inadvertantly changed a setting but I don't know which one. The checkboxes are not showing up either. Help, please.

Thanks

It sounds like the color set by the pen control is set to the same color as your background. Try adjusting the pen color and/or the line pattern for the radio buttons and checkboxes.

Thanks for the responses, but...

There is no pen color on the control and the line weight is 1. The Text color is much darker than the background color. I've attached a screen shot of the layout. Notice the Approved Denied text box and the white dot. That's how this is showing up now. Before I wrote my first question the buttons were dark brown like the text and the outer shell of the button showed up on both text items.

The field is not set as transparent. In fact, the background is specifically defined as an "Other color". The field itself is simply defined as a text field with no other options. The format is radio buttons as you can see. Oddly enough, I tried to get the field to work correctly on a plain black and white layout and it still exhibits the same behavior. No radio button shell and the dot was white, which means it didn't show up at all on a black/white layuout. I defined a new field and tuend that into a radio button using a diferent list and it still doesn't show the radio buttons or chechboxes.

Out of frustration, I opened up a completely different database and added a radio button field to one of the layouts and it worked as expected. So the problem is confined to just this database file.
