Relationships in Repeating fields

Featured Replies

I have 2 fields that are repeating, up to 18 repetitions. One field is <ticker>. The other is <fund>. I have a rel. set up that brings in the <fund> name based on whatever ticker value I specify. However...the repeating fields below <fund> remain blank when I enter in new ticker symbols in the corresponding repeating fields...as if I can't use them in a relationship. I would like to have this relational ability w/ repeating fields in order to avoid creating 18 different fields by which to accomplish the same objective.

So...is there a way to use a repeating fields (per individual record)in one-to-one relationships?

Anything would help.

Thanks,

Jon

Have you considered ditching the repeating fields and instead showing an 18-line portal. The portal would be related to a "line items" file, which would have your ticker and fund fields, and the lookup would be performed there.

I'll give that a shot. Thanks!
