Print different paper size in same file

Featured Replies

Hi there, now i have one system which same as sales register system. The system will let user to key in sales and the can print the receipt in the custom paper size 8.5' x 5.5'. By the way, the system also allow user to print the sales summary report, so now the paper size will change to fanford 8.5' x 11'. And this all printing job i need to set it automatically as user click a print button then it will direct print. I have tried some script but it can't work. So, can somebody teach me how to do this?

Regards,

Henry

As for find and sort requests, FM stores only one page set up (actually one x platform) per script, so you'll need as many scripts (with page setup step) as is the number of different paper size you need to print on.

I have try ad the script with page setup[restore], but if the paper size i set is custom size, then after i change to different printer, i can't get back the paper size i define on previous printer.

So you're not just changing paper size, but printer as well. Is this a Windows system or Mac? If you're on Windows, you've got to get a plug-in to deal with switching printers. There are a few out there, take your pick. I have two clients who use ProPrint, which works fine & is about $30.
