I am in the process of setting up a FileMaker DB to replace our ancient ACT contact management system. I was hoping to use the FileMaker Solution Framework as a starting point. I opened the Sol. Framework in FMP6 to make the files multi-user. I also modified the 'File Options' in the framework to allow sharing of the files.

Once these changes were made, I moved the files to the FMS5.5 installation folder and started the FMS service. From the remote system, I opened the 'Menu.FP5' file served from the FMS host. However, when I tried click the links to the other files from the menu file, a pop-up error appeared with the following text:

ADMINISTRATOR: You must have access to the system files on the host computer. Please contact the system administrator for this action.

After closing this dialog box, another one appeared saying the following:

FILE MISSING OR UNLINKED: This file is currently unavailable, please consult your system administrator or the help associated to this module.

The messages are displayed by FileMaker, but are they related to any Windows settings? I following the setup guide for FMS5.5 and believe that it is setup correctly. It serves the 'Menu.FP5' file, which is supposed to be the main page that links to the rest of the files... why won't the other files open.

Has anyone else setup the Solution Framework on FMS5.5? What is needed to get this to work properly. Any ideas? Please let me know if you need further information and thank you in advance for your help.
