MikeK Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 I am currently working on trying to use a tablet pc to capture signatures in my work order/invoices database. All I want to do is: After filling out the work order/invlice, have the customer sign the form on the screen, then when I print the form, the signature will be on it. Does anybody know of how this can be done? I have read posts about using stand alone machine, I am trying to stay away from that solution and woul prefer to use a tablet pc if that is possible. Thanks.
jasonwood Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 If it was on a Mac, I'd set up an AppleScript to open the drawing program, then another script in the drawing program that would copy the image and return to FileMaker, where it would paste the image into a container. I think that would be possible. Since this is a PC, I really would have no idea how to do it, but maybe that'll get your thinking in the right direction?
