I have 4 copies of FMP 4, and want to put them on a network with FMP Server as custodian. Will FMP Server 3 work for this, or do I need FMP Server 4?

Yes.

I believe there isn't server 4. Or I didn't use that version.

We vent from FMS3 to FMS5.

FMS3 was serving FMP3 and FMP4 clients.

After we updated to FM5, we have to update clients and server, because of new file format.
