Has someone used any of these three plug ins : MAILit, SMTPit and POPit

Hi --

This is not an issue with the plugins but more with your email provider.

POP3it is used to retrieve email. The SMTPit plugin is the one used for sending emails. What is more than likely happening is that your provider does not allow relaying of emails through its service. Which provider are you using? Do they require secure authentication.

I use SMTPit in many of my solutions including eBullet.
