I have made a report for attendance. It is sorted first, by day, then time then class_id. My problem is that it is breaking the body when the page finishes and continues on the next page. Is there a way to not let it break or if it is going to break, to let it move it to the next page? so if the body doesn't fit it will continue it on the next page? I know there is the part function that page beaks after each occurrence but that isn't what I need. If I did that, then I would have 20 pages for a single day. A little too many sheets for my books. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks for everything.

If you are using FM 5.0 or later, go into Layout Mode and double-click on the body part (or go to Layouts->Part Setup and select the part). Deselect the 'Allow part to break across page boundaries' checkbox.

If you are using an earlier version, I believe clicking on Shift and selecting Layouts->Layout Setup (or whatever its equivalent is) allows you to see a hidden checkbox that performs the same function.

but that is what is strange.... it is already unchecked... all of them... but it still breaks accross pages...

well... I couldn't really figure it out, so I created a sub-summary after the body and then I set it to break the page after four times. That way, it won't cut the body that is before it. It will work, but if anyone has a better way, please let me know. Thanks for your time.
