Is there a way to hide Field X from users logging in as User A, but make it visible to users logging in as User B?

I have a solution that both Administration and Teachers need access to. (It is relational and contains 3 files--most of the time both users will only be in the main file)

There is one field which contains confidential info that the teachers shouldn't see.

I have passwords created for each group.

I vaguely remember reading something about using a colored square to accomplish this, but I can't find that info anywhere

I apologize if this is posted to the wrong area.

Thanks for any help.

Go to File->Access Privileges->Overview. Select a group and you will see on the right side which layouts and fields to which this group has access. Clicking on the dot next to the layout/field will alternately make it accessible, non-accessible, or read-only to that group, as illustrated in the legend.
