Matthew F Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 The filemaker server administration plugin adds some external script steps to filemaker server, which all start with the prefix "FMA..." Since these are meant for the Server Admistration plugin Filemaker does not provide documentation for them. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to use the the "FMA-GetGuestDetails..." status function? It would be nice if identifying information could be gleaned about a user to help customize the content that they are served.
Newbies J McLeod Posted November 7, 2003 Newbies Posted November 7, 2003 I was unable to find the external scripts you mentioned. However, while using Remote Administration, "Get Details" on a user reveals the following: - name of guest - network protocol being used (i.e. TCP/IP or AppleTalk) - network address - number of files being used - length of time connected to server - length of time idle - guest status ("Normal" or "Closing") It doesn't sound like enough information to customize content (like a cookie?)
