Jason Goldsmith Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 It seems that checkboxes allow multiple checks. How do I limit them to just one check? Thanks
Lee Smith Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 hi Jason, You could use radio buttons, it makes it harder to click multiple choices becuase it requires the shift key. HTH Lee
Lee Smith Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Hi Jason, You might want to take a look at this file by Don Wieland called Dynamic Checkboxes, you can download it at his URL: http://www.dwdataconcepts.com Lee
ernst Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Hi Jason, hi Lee, Interface technically speaking one should not use checkboxes if they should behave like radiobuttons. And radiobuttons should not allow multiple selection. (Filemaker did a real nasty job there) Just my 0.00001 cent. Ernst.
Vaughan Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Ernst: I totally agree about multiple-selection radio buttons. Ditto with multiple-selection menus in Windows too.
