Filemaker Server 5.5.4 and MacOS X 10.3.1

Featured Replies

Hi,

Since the migration to MacOS X 10.3.1 from MacOS X 10.2.8, I can't open any database anymore under Filemaker Server 5.5.4. I have checked the preferences twice and all the settings are ok, all the databases are shared and they are on a raid volume. Are there more people with this problem?

greetz & thnx,

Jeffer, we have noticed also that if our Macs are connected via modem and downloading files that filemaker (6.0v4 on 10.3.1) will not recognize local hosts, if however the modem is not connected local hosts shows the proper shared files.. We have also found that if you specify the host (specify host... in open remote) the shared files appear and can be connected. Not sure if this helps, but you may try the specify host... method and see if that works.
