I am and event/tour coordinator and I have two related files, one we will call events, the other we will call personnel. I would like to be able to keep lists of people involved in a particular 'tour' or set of events in my personnel file - which has start date and end date fields - so I can easily navigate from my events file to the correct list based on the event date in question. My key field would either be the client name or the tour name (I haven't decided yet which would work best). Any suggestions as to how to do this? One problem is that a number of 'tours' could have open end dates until (a) personnel change or (: the said tour is over. I don't know if this would gum up the works but I could find a work around for that if necessary... thanks

I've used it to automatically generate a series of dates, either mm/dd/yyyy or xxxxx (FMPs's internal date) the result can be used in a relationship to quickly "find" the desired set of records.
