FMDesign 2.0 has been released for FileMaker Pro.

View, print and export reports on the various design aspects of FileMaker Pro databases. Stop flipping through layout after layout trying to find where a field exists. No longer print ugly screen shots when trying to get a hard copy of your value lists. FMDesign will report on just about everything available via FileMaker's own Design Functions!

Since it uses the Design functions and not a Design Report, you don't need Developer. Plus, it's a bit cheaper than some others I've seen. Also, you can export the reports. I actually used this function this morning when a client wanted an excel spreadsheet of all his value lists -- about 30 of 'em; some custom, some from fields. It took me about two minutes. Additionally, you don't need the master password, as long as the file is open you can examine it -- though you do need to be able to browse records in order to see items of value lists based on fields.

You cannot read the scripts and fields definitions as they're not available via the Design functions. However, you can see a list of script names and field names. Also, you can see the field type, the data type and the field style for each layout it's on.
