SIMPLE SCRIPT

Featured Replies

I AM TRYING TO LEARN SCRIPTING. I HAVE A DATABASE WITH NAMES,ADDRESSES, ETC AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A SCRIPT THAT WOULD GO TO THE NAME FIELD AND THEN ALLOW ME TO ENTER A NAME TO FIND. I HAVE TRIED --- GO TO FIELD["NAME"] -- PREFORM FIND[RESTORE,REPLACE FOUND SET] BUT IT DOES NOT ERASE THE NAME IN THE NAME FIELD SO I CAN ENTER A NAME TO FIND.

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

THANKS

Hi:

If you prefer, I can teach you how to turn the caps lock off grin.gif

Anyways, If you need to just find a name, a script is not really necessary. You could just go to find mode and enter the name in the name field.

If you really need a script:

Enter Find Mode [] - Uncheck "Pause" and "Restore Find Requests"

Go to Field [Name field]
