DonH Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Slowly I move to a different system. Now that I have it stable and working better than ever. grrrrrrr. Can you believe they are now going to make it part Java part .Net and part Cold Fusion??? I told them I would rather stick with just File Maker and upgrade to 6.0. No wonder it was such a mess when I took it on. Anyway, to the point. I am doing away with one whole database since it is moving to Cold Fusion. What I am looking for is a way to make it so that when a person would normally be sent to one of the layouts for that db they get sent to the new CF site instead. I'm sure this is easy to do, but I'm trying to decipher an intern's mess in SQL Server at the same time (phone numbers that are -5.555e+09 sheeesh) so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kundinger Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Hi Don, Quick answer... use script step "open URL" You could have a blank layout with a message... "Sorry, this system is being convert to a web based system. Click the 'Continue' button to be redirected to that site." The button would then run the 'open URL' script to take them to the new system. Hope this helps... Good Luck! Bob Kundinger [email protected]
