Ted S Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 Hello, Crystal to FileMaker newbie here. I'm trying to build a report using Crystal from data in FileMaker. Crystal wants me to enter a sql statement but I don't know the syntax and can't find it anywhere. My FileMaker file is called InstBase.FP5 and in that file is a field called Model. I would guess that the sql would be like: SELECT Model FROM InstBase.FP5 but that doesn't work. I've tried dropping the file extension, surrounding the file and field names with quotes, adding a semicolon to end the statement etc. Can somebody help a dope like me write this statement. Ted S Posted January 9, 2004 Author Share Posted January 9, 2004 False alarm. I got it to work. I just didn't have the background stuff set up yet - sharing & all that.
