I am trying to script a multi-field sort with no dialog. My management reports need to do an 8 level sort. The most I have been able to script is 1 level. I need a 1 button solution since management is not going to enter the sort information everytime they need to get a report.

Multi level? What do you mean? Do you mean sort by multiple fields? Or do you need a report with like 8 subsummary parts? If so, check out reports with grouped data.

By the way, you can script a sort by doing it manually, then go to scriptmaker and make a script that has the step:

Sort [restore]
