Backbutton with separate files?

Featured Replies

I have 3 major files with a lot of layouts. I would like to know how to make a backbutton that would navigate backwords and forwards through the files and layouts within those files.

I have 3 files called

Registration, dealers, accounting

Each has at least 20 layouts.

Is this doable?

Thanks

Stan

No prob with a Mac and Applescript. It can be done with PCs, but it's harder. In either case you are going to have to fully control user navigation with buttons and scripts. If the user manually switches layouts or files, you can't record that. Also note that back buttons are sometimes a VERY bad idea with databases. Users can interrupt processes, leave incomplete data, etc. Is data quality and integrity important to your or your client?
