RS232 Port direct communication via plug in?

We are upgrading our weigh count system, and now have the opportunity to get data directly via the systems RS232 port. Can anyone point me to a plug in that will allow me to directly communicate to a RS232 port on a Windows based system via filemaker.

I think the Troi serial plug-in will do that.
