portal not sorting

Hi all

I am trying to get the portal to sort by employee last name after finding which company they are working for.Press the button in the upper right corner to goto the layout for the portal. The view layout sort properly but the portal does not. What am i doing wrong.

Go to Define Relationships... and pick out the relationship the portal is based on. You can set your sort order there.
