andygaunt
Look to Nightwing enterprises for a solution www.nightwing.com.au/filemaker Also look into encrypting data in this forum (do a search for topics)
Steven H. Blackwell
You could use a plug-in to encrypt the data. Or you could just store the reference code for the card if it's a transaction system. Steven
Singlequanta
Hiya; With credit card security of course, the most secure option is to not have the credit card number stored at all. However this is impracticle if you have to bill a customer on a regular basis and need that credit card number. So the easiest thing to do is to encrypt the credit card number. This is easily done with an opensource plugin calle Crypto Toolbox which you can download from here or from filemakers site. I've attached a sample database for you and the plugin.
