I am working with Filemaker 6 and I'm constantly exporting the same fields from different found sets. Is there way to save my export description so that I'm not always scrolling through 100 fields to select the 8 that I want to export? I'd ideally like to create a script that exports the desired fields from a particular found set with the click of a button.

Welcome to the forum! Just for future reference this part of the forum is for feedback on the forum, not for posting questions. This would have been better suited in the importing/exporting section I should think.

Anyways, your question, perform the export manually and then create a script with the export script step in it, perform without dialog. This will remember the export you just did manually. Each time you want to run the export, just run the script and it will remember what you did in the manual export.

This true but keep in mind that if you delete a field you might want to recheck your export as the field deletion may upset your field export order.
