Going to related record through portal

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a several portals setup in a main window. I would like to be able to set a transparent button over the area of the portal so that when I click anywhere in a portal row, it takes me to that record. Is there anyway to do this.

Hi Lopay,

B)

You just describe the way to do it.

Go to layout mode, make a button, choose either your script, or the "Go To Related Record" Option in the List, click on "Show only" this record (I think thats what is says), place the Button within the first row of the portal boundries, make the attributes of the Button blank, and you got it.

Note: Make sure that the button is within the portal.
