an active "hyperlink" in a text field

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I'm looking for a simple way to make some words in a text field like an "hyperlink" and thus the user could open a specific related record.

I tried some search on this subject in this forum but I did not find anything. So, may be I'm a little bit blind. javascript:void(0)

So, thank you in advance for your help,

You can do it if you type as text directly onto the layout and make a button from the desired word, but I'm not sure that you can do it from a standard text field.

You can make a whole field into a button so you may be able to have a workaround with this method, depending on what you are actually trying to do.

There may be a plug-in but someone with more experience is bound to have a definitive answer for you.

Cheers, Murray
