Upgrade Lisence

Featured Replies

This is probably a stupid questions, but here it goes. I have about 80 lisences for FMP6. They sent me the offer this for the upgrade price. Will this cover all my seat lisences? Or would I in-theory have to buy 80 upgrades? I'm little fuzzy on this issue.

Hi ddreese,

For 80 seats, your best bet price-wise will be some sort of volume license agreement. You should not pay the full 1-seat upgrade price 80 times.

You can get more info on VLA pricing from our web store (http://www.filemaker.com/store/licensing.html)

If you are in the US, you can call our inside sales team for more info. 800-725-2747

Or a reseller should be able to take care of you too (http://www.filemaker.com/store/purchase_options.html)

Thanks for the information. I was hoping it would be cheap, but since we just bought the lisences about 6 months ago, it would be foolish to spend another $9000 on the software. That's definately not going to fly.

Depending on what type license you acquired and when you acquired it, it might include a year's maintenance. In that case, you'd a;ready be covered. Check with your FMI Sales Rep as Andrew suggested.
