Hello-

I would like to trigger a script by a return key, Is this possible in filemaker through any means? It could be any other single key, but not key combinations. Just asking.

Unfortunately, no. This is a highly requested feature.

The most common way to compensate for this is to place a button near the field that will perform the script.

If you are on Windows, a workaround is to use a drop-down menu field that does not allow entry except by script. The field is then formatted as a button that goes to the field, pauses for "0:00:00", and continues, using the result of the selection to determine the appropriate action. If you are on Mac, the technique isn't as smooth, apparently.
