I make FMP solutions and my customers use at this time FMP v6.x.

Is it possible to build a solution in FMP v7.x and use it in a v6.x like it was possible in v6.x <--> v5.x

It says at time of posting:

"Will FileMaker Pro 7 exchange data with older versions of FileMaker Pro?

With FileMaker Pro 7, the data file format had to change to enable the exciting new data model and features. This means that FileMaker Pro 7 and other members of the FileMaker 7 product line can not directly communicate with older FileMaker versions."

I just downloaded the trail version, but is hangs on the instalation.

The second time I tried. The installation worked. I don't know what happend the first time.
