OffTheDeepEnd.com Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 Hello everyone, After spending a few years now in developement of Filemaker, I decided that I would try to sell a point of sale system with inventory and purchase order systems locally to a audio dealer. I don't really want to build the database from scratch, and it used to be that filemaker came with a few nice templates. Now with 6, there is no luck. Does anybody know where I could find a source for this type of stuff or if anybody has more of a generic template I could use, it would be greatly appreciated. I have everything planned out but just don't really have the time for full developement. I guess if it is necessary, I might as well just do it myself. Any help is appreciated! Version: v6.x Platform: Windows XP

Fitch Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 FileMaker 6 does come with templates. Go to your application prefs and check the "show templates" checkbox. Close prefs and choose File>New Database and you should see templates. If not, it's because you didn't install them. They are on the install CD. Here are two other downloads: http://collection.filemaker.com/collection/search_details.jsp?serial=1 http://www.fmfiles.com/enduserbus1.html
