Price Confusion

So the upgrade price to v7 is $149. That's what we paid full-price for v6 from MacMall. Shouldn't the upgrade price be cheaper than what we paid for the full version of 6? Did they raise the price? Am I missing something completely obvious? (And yes, I'm using FileMaker Pro 6.)

The retail price of FMPro 6 is $299. Are you sure you didn't buy the FMPro 6 upgrade for $149?

The FGU (Finished Good Unit) aka FIleMaker Pro in the box retials for $299. Upgrade is $149. Licenses prices are very different than this, and the price depends on the type of license and the number of seats.

For a limited time you can upgrade to FMP 7 for earlier versions for the special $149 price. Later, only FMP6 units will be eligible for this price.
