Aussie John Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 is it possible for a background script to run which will log a user out if filemaker hasnt been used for a period of time? (filemaker in particular as distinc from an idle computer ) thanks Version: v6.x Platform: Mac OS X Panther
stanley Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 John: There's a plugin that does this, called Timeout: http://www.practicemaker.com/Timeout.htm -Stanley
Ender Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 I have a solution that checks and updates a "Last Activity Time" field for most of the navigation and report scripts. If it's over an hour old, the Logout script takes over and the user has to re-login. --Mike
