Just a thought, have you tried contacting the publisher to see if they would provide a replacement?

I think the Author is probably concerned about breaking his agreement with the publisher to *NOT* release these files. It's my understanding that once a book is published, the CD becomes part of a book, as such belongs to the publisher.

When I said editor I meant publisher (soory, for my poor english!!): they told me It's like if you, by accident, half-burn your book
