Newbies Ralph Allan Posted April 7, 2004 Newbies Share Posted April 7, 2004 On a network running Windows 2003 server, one user is accessing via Terminal Services. All works fine, except that for one issue. An "Opener script" has been created that connects to a hosted database that uses FileMaker Server 5.5. This works on all the LAN stations, but does not work on the station connecting by terminal services. Any ideas anyone? DykstrL
My guess is that the Terminal Server is not looking at the FM server as a local host. You probably need to change the opener file and use the IP address of the server - which should be a static IP address. Unless the FM server is a local host, just using the server name will not work unless you have a DNS server resolving the name. "hard-wire" the IP address in the opener file - that should do it.
