Migrating from FM7 to Developer 7

I am currently running Filemaker 7 on a MacIntosh G4 OSX Panther.

I would like to switch to Developer 7 for the remainder of my programming.

I am planning on using my current FM7 license for a second computer that is networked to the computer that I run Developer 7 on.

Do I need to first purge all vestiges of Filemaker 7 before loading Developer 7?

(and if so, do I just drag the Filemaker 7 application folder to the trash?

My concern is that if I load my first FM6 license onto the second machine it will show up when networked as too many users for the same license.
