Deleting spaces and points in one formula

Hello,

I have a field called "a". In field "b" I want to delete the spaces and points that are field in field "a"

I use: Substitute(a;" ";"")

The spaces are now gone, but how can I delete in the same formula the points?

Platform: Windows XP

Assuming by points you meant periods ".", than this should do it.

Substitute(Substitute(a, " ", '''),

"..", "")

If not, than replace my .. with what ever you mean.

Yes I did mean periods instead of points!
