I have set up the server and the created a database using the filemaker. I created it in something called Dragon Web Serveys. I can change everything but I can't access the server from anywhere. Any ideas why the server is not letting me in. I am using Sever 5.5.

FileMaker Version: 6

Platform: Windows XP

M, what is Dragon Web Surveys? What do you mean you can't access the server? Can you see its host name in the list of hosts (from FM client, Ctrl-Shift-O)? Is your fp5 file in the FileMaker Server 5.5 folder on the server? Is it set to multi-user? If not, is FM Server set to host single-user files?

I got a million more questions if these don't work...

Ouch! Just GOOGLE'd "dragon web surveys" and see you still need FMP-Unlimited AND need to purchase their stuff for $900 more. For that kind of dough, don't be afraid to call their tech support.

Sorry, don't know anything more about it.
