I have a FileMaker 7 database with two tables. I'm attempting to do an import, but FM isn't letting me choose which table is my target. It defaults to the first table created in the database.

Is there a way around this? Thank you for your help.

You need to have a layout for the table you are importing into. Go to that layout, then try to import your data. The to be imported fields are lined up against those in your current layout, I think.

That's the solution! An fyi to other users - the layout needs to be a table/columnar type, not a form type.
